Class of 1981 Scholarships

Groundhog Party in the Park

The Class of 1981 is coming together to make an immediate impact in the lives of current UD students in need.

The newly established Class of 1981 Scholarship Fund will benefit a current student (preferably a junior or senior) with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Preference will be given to a student who has financial need especially if there has been a change in circumstances that might lead to them having to leave the University before their degree is completed. While scholarships from the endowed fund will begin distributing one year after it has been fully funded ($50,000 minimum), the scholarship has been set up with a separate spend fund in order to begin awarding the scholarship to a student in the fall of 2021 just in time for the Class of 1981’s 40th Reunion.
